How It All Began
A Family Trip That Changed Everything
In 2008, Sarah Chen took her young family to Bali for the first time. What was meant to be a simple holiday became a life-altering journey — one filled with temple ceremonies, rice terrace sunsets, and the kind of connection that only travel can create.
She returned home with one thought: every family deserves to feel this. In 2009, she founded Itz Your Trip from her kitchen table in New York, determined to make extraordinary family travel accessible, stress-free, and deeply personal.
Fifteen years later, we've grown into a team of passionate travel experts who have personally explored every destination we offer. We've served over 500 families and groups across 50+ countries — and every single trip still feels as meaningful as the first.
Our Journey
15 Years of Adventures
Founded in New York
Sarah Chen started Itz Your Trip from her kitchen table after a life-changing family trip to Bali inspired her to help others experience the same magic.
First 100 Families
Word spread fast. Within three years we had served 100 families across 15 destinations — all through personal referrals and genuine passion.
Expanded to Group Travel
We launched our dedicated group travel division, opening up adventures for school trips, corporate retreats, and large family reunions.
